The challenge

Sarzhin is a jeweler based in Sulaymaniyah, with customers across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Before its app, checking the price of gold meant phone calls. Buyers and sellers did not trust each other's rates, local jewelry shops had little visibility, and there was no easy way to track historical price trends.

What we built

Enzziro built Sarzhin's app around live rates. It shows gold and silver prices, including 18K, 21K, 24K and Lyra, and updates them every second from live market data. PAMP bars from 1g to 250g are listed with live prices and stock availability, so the app is also the jeweler's own storefront. A historical price archive lets users pick a date on a calendar and see past prices. Prices convert between Iraqi dinars and US dollars, and the app works in Kurdish, Arabic and English. It is published on the App Store and Google Play as Sarzhin Jewellery.

For the same client, Enzziro also built a public Zakat calculator for gold.

The outcome

Live gold prices and Sarzhin's own storefront now sit in one multilingual app, which has more than 15,000 active users. Users get instant gold price notifications, the whole market works from standardized, transparent pricing, and historical data shows how prices move.
