Web development and web design in Kurdistan and Iraq
Websites and web platforms, built in Sulaymaniyah
Enzziro is a web development company in Sulaymaniyah (Slemani), in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We build company websites, customer portals and web applications for businesses in Sulaymaniyah, Erbil and across Iraq.
We write the code ourselves rather than assembling a theme. That's what lets a site load quickly on a phone, read properly in Arabic and Kurdish, and be found on Google in each of its languages.

What we build
- Company websites that explain what you do, show your work and turn visitors into enquiries.
- Customer portals where clients sign in, submit requests, upload documents and follow progress without phoning your office.
- Web applications and internal tools that replace spreadsheets and paper: dashboards, approval flows, reports.
- Public tools such as calculators, price lists and digital menus that customers use and come back to.
- Headless and CMS-driven sites where your team edits the content and developers own the code. See headless architecture.
Built for Kurdistan and Iraq
- Three languages, done properly. English, Arabic and Sorani Kurdish, with right-to-left layouts that mirror correctly and fonts designed for Arabic script.
- Found in every language. Each language version gets its own address, title and description, plus the
hreflangannotations that tell Google which page to show a reader in Erbil and which to show one in Baghdad. Pages that aren't translated yet are kept out of the index, so they don't compete with the originals. - Fast on mobile data. Most visitors arrive on a phone. We render pages on the server, keep scripts small and optimise images so pages load fast on a mobile connection.
- Your contact channels. WhatsApp, phone and email, in the places visitors look for them, alongside forms that reach your inbox and are protected against spam bots.
Examples from our work
- Amsho Global: a client portal and staff back office for a travel, visa and translation agency in Sulaymaniyah. Clients sign in with a one-time code, submit visa or translation requests, upload documents and follow the case through seven stages. Staff run the whole catalogue of countries, visa types and prices from the back office.
- Sarzhin Zakat calculator: a public web tool that fetches the live gold price and works out Zakat in the msqal and ayar units the local gold trade uses, with Kurdish and English on the same screen.
- Golden Chicken: a QR-code digital menu for a restaurant in Sulaymaniyah, with prices and dishes managed centrally instead of reprinted.
- Rentro: a property-management web system for a family portfolio in the Kurdistan Region, covering leases, rent, bills and approved collector rounds, in English, Kurdish and Arabic.

How a project runs
- Discovery. A call with the engineers who will build the site. We agree the pages, features and languages, and you get a written scope and timeline.
- Design. You click through the key pages as an interactive prototype and approve them before development starts.
- Build. You get weekly updates and a staging link where you can see the site as it grows.
- Launch. We set up hosting, the domain, analytics and Google Search Console, then train your team on editing content.
- After launch. Updates, fixes and new pages as your business needs them.
Technology we use
- Front end: React and Next.js, with server-side rendering for speed and search visibility.
- Back end: Node.js with TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL.
- Content management: a headless CMS where your team needs to edit content often, or content kept in the codebase when it rarely changes.
- Hosting on cloud infrastructure, with HTTPS, security headers and automated deployments.
What affects the cost of a website
- Brochure site or web application. A ten-page company site and a portal with accounts, roles and workflows are different kinds of project.
- Languages. Each language adds content and design work, and right-to-left layouts need their own testing.
- Who edits it. Whether your team needs a CMS, or whether we make changes for you.
- Integrations. Payments, maps, your CRM or accounting system, live data feeds.
- Content. Whether copy and photography exist already, or need to be produced.
Tell us about your site on the start a project page and we will send a scoped estimate.
Frequently asked questions
Can our website be in Kurdish and Arabic as well as English?
Yes. This site is built that way, and so are the portals and tools we build for clients. Each language gets its own URLs and search metadata, with right-to-left layout for Arabic and Kurdish.
Will the website rank on Google?
We build every site so Google can crawl and understand it: fast pages, clean URLs, correct titles, structured data, a sitemap and multilingual annotations. Rankings also depend on your content and on other sites linking to you, so we'll tell you honestly what the build can and can't do on its own.
Can we update the content ourselves?
Yes, if you need to. We connect a content management system and show your team how to use it. For sites that rarely change, we can make edits for you instead.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes. We start from what the current site already earns in search, carry that content and those addresses over, and set up redirects for any URL that changes, so the redesign doesn't throw away rankings you already have.
Can the site take payments?
Usually, yes. That depends on the payment provider you have a merchant account with and whether it offers an API. We confirm this during discovery.
Who owns the website?
You do: the code, the domain and the content.
Ready to bring your vision to life?
Enough thinking. You have the vision, we have the engineering. Let's combine forces and launch something world-class.
